Question by Eraserhead: What is the difference between Repubs fears and Dems fears?
Repubs fear that the world is out to get them, so they want to spend a lot of money on guns and the army.
Dems fear that the climate change is happening so they want spend a lot of money fighting that.
While there’s something to say for both, who’s fears are more real? Choose.

Climate change does exist as many scientist have stated. We should not blindly spend money because of that, but we should invest in things that will create jobs, be useful to Americans, and clean our environment at the same time.
I would say that a lot of republicans think we need to show that we are the most powerful nation in the world. We do not need to always flex our muscles just because their is a conflict. Sometimes being silent is better than being loud.

I disagree with our analogy 100%. The Republican party is the party of fear, fear of the unknown. Republicans tend to be lower class uneducated people who will believe anything spewed at them from talk radio. The rally behind racist and terrorist out of fear that their way of life will be somehow destroyed through an educated society.
Democrats are the party of deeds. Democrats look at the problems of the world and seek solutions. Democrats embrace change and advancement and work hard to make the world a better place for everyone to live in not just a select few. Democrats tend to be the party of the the educated American people. On college campuses across the country Democrats out number Republicans almost 6 to 1. In rural America with high dropout rates Republicans outnumber Democrats 4 to 1.
85% of all college graduates are Democrats. 92% of people with a Masters degree are democrats and 95% of people with a PhD are Democrats.
By the same token 85% of high school dropouts are Republicans.
Dems fear IGNORANCE.

Dems fear the myth of global warming. Repubs fear something that is actually plausible. Repubs sure as heck do not want to spend massive amounts of money on firearms and the military. We want to protect our Second Amendment right, and want to protect our county because there are plenty of people out there who do not like America and want to harm us; it’s an inevitable truth. We want to protect this country because we care about this country and want to protect it and it’s freedom.
